Privacy Policy for Sanctuary Pantry
Sanctuary Pantry is an offline pantry inventory app. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles and how that data is used.
1. Information We Collect
Sanctuary Pantry does not collect personal information from you on our servers. The app does not require account registration.
- Inventory data you create (item name, category, quantity, expiry date, notes)
- App settings you choose (such as local preferences)
2. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate a cloud backend for this app.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
4. Export and Import Features
The app provides optional JSON/CSV export and JSON import features that you trigger manually. Exported files are saved to locations you choose. You are responsible for how these files are stored and shared after export.
5. Permissions
Sanctuary Pantry is designed to run without unnecessary permissions. It does not require network access for core functionality.
6. Children’s Privacy
Sanctuary Pantry is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete your local app data at any time from the in-app settings (Delete Data). Uninstalling the app also removes app data according to your device system behavior.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy in future app releases. The updated version will include a new effective date.
